This writing sample was used as part of my thesis proposal for my Masters Degree in Creative Writing (Fiction Emphasis). The first chapter serves as an example of my ability to reveal planned world-building through narrative, create interesting characters, and write dialogue.

I went on to complete this novel and was successful using it as my final thesis project.
